Jim’s experience at broadacre includes ground preparation, ripping, scarifying, ploughing, and cultivating, as well as airseeder experience to get the crops in the ground. Jim is competent in property maintenance, including mig welding and fencing. He is also very mechanically minded.
In the sheep yards, Jim demonstrates a high level of all skills, including shearing, crutching, drenching, and lambing. He can muster on a bike, quad or buggy. He is capable of maintaining water infrastructure (solar/mono pumps) and repairing yard fencing on the fly.
