Samantha is finishing up a season in the Northern Territory this December and is ready to bring her culinary skills to another station kitchen. Over the past year, she has worked as a Station Cook for crews of up to 20 people, delivering hearty and healthy meals that keep everyone fuelled. Before this, Samantha ran a school canteen and assisted in a catering business, preparing meals for 60 – 100 people.
She’s confident whipping up everything from tasty smoko treats like slices, muffins, and savoury snacks, to full-on main meals, all while maintaining excellent kitchen hygiene, prep, and sanitisation standards. Samantha holds a Food Safety Certificate, Certificate IV in Business, First Aid including Anaphylaxis management, and a Working with Children Check. She was also shortlisted from 1,200 Jamie Oliver Hero Awards.
