Growing up on a rural property near Scone, NSW, was the catalyst for Dom’s passion for Agriculture. Following her completion of a Rural Science degree at UNE, her agricultural career has spanned across many different sectors of the industry, from station life in the NT, livestock genetics, primary pastoral production, international live export all the way to grassfed beef supply chains. Dom credits her 10+ years working in the live export industry to the person she has become today. The intensity and challenging aspects of the industry taught some valuable lessons, but also brought many great achievements. Dom now resides back in the Scone area, where she now runs some cattle and stock horses with her young family.
