Andrew is an experienced and highly capable Farm Hand with a strong background in broadacre cropping, machinery operation, silage and general farm maintenance. He has hands-on experience across the full cropping cycle, including ground preparation, deep ripping, seeding, spraying, harvesting and hay/silage operations, as well as working with crops including wheat, barley, canola, faba beans, oats and legumes. He is confident operating large-scale John Deere, CLAAS and CASE machinery and has experience with Trimble, GreenStar and Topcon GPS systems.
Andrew brings excellent mechanical aptitude, with strong troubleshooting and repair skills across tractors, headers, trucks, machinery, pumps and small engines, as well as extensive welding, fencing and water infrastructure experience.
While Andrew has solid exposure to cattle and sheep handling, including mustering, yard work, drafting and general livestock processing, his main interest is moving further into a cropping-focused operation where he can continue developing his skills and build a long-term career.
Andrew is particularly interested in working in an established Queensland cropping enterprise that can offer career progression and increased responsibility over time. He wants a stable, long-term opportunity where he and his family can settle, with access to good schooling and a strong local community.
