Calling all Southern States — meet Ava, a motivated young stockwoman who’s been in the dairy industry since she was 15 and is now ready to grow her skills in other areas. Ava has some foundational skills in tagging, vaccinating, drafting and drenching, and is confident using AgriNow and Stockyard programs.
Raised on a mixed farm in Victoria, she’s keen to stay reasonably close to home and step into a Mixed Farm Hand or Station Hand role. Ava can ride quads and buggies, has some basic sheep experience including drafting and lamb marking, and brings a good foundational understanding of cropping with the drive to learn under a strong mentor.
With an Advanced Diploma of Agribusiness Management, complimented with other studies also, she is ready to thrive – one of her referees said, “Whatever she sets her mind to, she’ll knock it out of the park.”
