With a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, Maya has been employed working in a busy daycare centre, caring for children aged 7 weeks to 6 years. She brings a nurturing, calm presence, along with a structured approach to learning. Maya is passionate about early development and knows how to keep little minds and hands busy with age – age-appropriate learning curriculum, arts and crafts, nature–based play, story time, and sensory activities, tailored to suit bush living.

But she’s far more than just great with kids. Maya’s just as comfortable in the kitchen as she is in the playroom. Maya has been employed casually in a catering business. She knows her way around cooking hearty, wholesome meals for hungry crews, plus cakes, slices, and station-style smoko treats. Whether it’s helping prepare dinner for ten or keeping the kids fed with fuss–free meals, she’s happy to pitch in wherever needed.

Raised on dairy farms, Maya is no stranger to life on the land. She’s confident in the cattle yards, not afraid of a bit of hard work, and has hands-on experience operating small tractors, quad bikes, and basic machinery.
