4. Josh

Josh is a man with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the agricultural industry. Experienced in both sheep & cattle (and some goat experience), Josh has spent time on larger pastoral properties, running feedlots, driving trucks and running his own AI business. Josh is very capable in all aspects of animal husbandry, whether its mustering with bikes or horses, drafting and processing stock, weighing lambs, weaner management or animal health and nutrition. Josh also spent 15 years leasing and operating his own feedlot in Texas.

Josh spent some time in his career transporting livestock. Complete with an MC Truck Licence, he is no stranger to operating trucks as well as maintaining them mechanically. Josh’s skillset extends to operating tractors, some earthmoving machinery, managing and maintaining water, fencing and welding. Josh has also managed and operated irrigation setups using Centre Pivots and currently runs the farmbot water monitoring system.

Josh completes his resume with a Diploma in Farm Management, experience in ag software programs (Agriwebb, StockAid) and competent data management skills.

Josh’s references describe him as having a “great work ethic and attitude, leads by example and is definitely a leader not a follower.” He comes highly recommended. Ideally, Josh would like to be located in the Southern and SW areas of Queensland.
