5. Cath

Senior Station Hand, Station Hand

, , , ,

NSW, QLD

Full-Time

Introducing Cath – a mature 485 visa holder who’s looking for a long-term role that offers stability, career growth and the chance to truly call Australia home. She brings a broad range of practical skills, from feedlot work and Station Hand duties to seasonal chaser bin operation and spray rig experience.

Cath is a driven, proactive worker who right now wants to be outdoors on horseback, working livestock and getting hands-on in the ag industry. Long term, she also brings strong academic foundations, holding a Bachelor of Science and Applied Science with a focus on agriculture, business and management which would be an asset to any business.

Her practical skill set is extensive: mustering, droving, feedlot induction, fencing, cropping, spraying, chaser-bin operation, and confident use of all types of GPS-equipped tractors. She has experience with StockaID and has worked with large numbers of cattle, sheep and goats.

One referee summed her up perfectly, “She came as a backpacker for three months and six years later was an integral part of our operation, right up until we sold the property. Otherwise, Cath would still be here.” Cath comes with excellent references, three horses, leadership qualities, a Chem/Vet Cert, and an older kelpie. She does require a nomination to secure long-term residency and a stable career – but she has a tremendous amount to offer the right operation.
