Dave is a mature, experienced farm worker from the Darling Downs seeking a full-time, live-on-farm role. He has broad livestock and old-school cropping experience, including air seeding, spraying, spreading, hay work, slashing, and ploughing. He operates a range of earthmoving machinery – excavators, dozers, graders, bobcats – and is mechanically minded.
Dave’s livestock background includes station work, dairy farming, saleyards, and all yard-processing tasks, along with feed mill and feedlot experience. He is also competent with water infrastructure – pump repairs, trough and tank installs, and poly pipe work.
Dave’s fencing skills cover repairs and new builds across all wire types, electric fencing, steel and timber assemblies, and chainsaw use. He is also capable in welding arc, stick, MIG, oxy cutting, poly welding, and general maintenance. Overall, he brings a solid, practical skill set and is well suited to a stable, on-farm position.
