8. Heather

Farm Hand, Machinery Operator

, , , ,

NSW

Full-Time

Harvest is over and after a week of RnR done Heather is ready to step back in to the tractor and get cracking. Heather has gone the livestock route with cattle and sheep, but her heart is in the wide open spaces of farming and she would love a position that can use her skills and teach her more. She has done four seasons of chaser bin operation, knows her way around a speed tiller and adjuster bar, air seeders, 3PL spreaders as well as mowing and raking hay. She’s happy, bright and a pleasure to talk to. When the SOS went out for a replacement Chaser Bin operator to start ASAP Heather packed up and was off to the farm in need before the phone was put down. Her dedication and reliability is second to none! She gets on with everyone, is a quick learner – tell her once and she’s got it and fits in well with any crew. Heather is keen to learn more about farming and with glowing references we think she would be an asset to any farm that offers her a position.
