3. Todd

Todd is on the hunt for somewhere he and his young family can call home long term. He is currently operating a fence contracting business, but is looking at getting back to life on the land with a focus on livestock. He is experienced in managing both sheep and cattle, and has feedlot experience. Todd is experienced with merinos, dorpers and Aussie whites. He is confident with all things sheep having grown up on a merino property. Todd also spent time as a Shearer, a Station Hand, and did some time on a cotton farm. He also nearly completed his 4th Diesel Fitter apprenticeship. Todd said he wanted to go back to farming, hence why he didn’t fully complete his trade.

During his time in broadacre cropping, Todd operated various John Deere and CASE machinery including tractors, airseeders, spreaders, ploughs, Kelly chains, deep rippers etc. He worked in both dryland and irrigated cropping, with a bit of siphon experience.

Todd can operate excavators, loaders, bobcats, telehandlers and forklifts and has his HR Truck Licence. He is highly competent in fencing and yard building and has plenty of experience stick and mig welding. He has experience in welding yards, loading ramps, end assemblies, among other things. Todd’s references describe him as being a team player and having very good communication and leadership skills.
