David is an experienced Bore Runner seeking a long-term role in QLD or NT for the 2027 season. Having worked across large-scale cattle operations, he brings strong practical knowledge of remote water infrastructure and station maintenance. David is confident in all aspects of bore running and maintenance, including diesel, mono, submersible and solar pump systems. His experience includes pulling and repairing bores, installing and maintaining tanks, troughs, and poly pipe.
In addition to water infrastructure, David is experienced in building and maintaining squares, fencing repairs, straining fences, and general station maintenance. He is competent with both mig and stick welding and is capable of carrying out a wide range of fabrication and repair work in remote environments.
With hands-on experience across large cattle operations, David is confident checking livestock, monitoring water points, and mustering cattle on motorbikes.
He understands the importance of reliable water infrastructure to livestock production and takes pride in maintaining station assets to a high standard.
David also has experience operating graders for station road maintenance and clearing fence lines. Holding an HR Licence and known for a practical approach and strong work ethic, David is ready to settle into a full-time, long-term Bore Runner position where he can contribute his extensive water infrastructure and station maintenance skills to your team.
