2. Ava

Ava is an experienced and capable station hand seeking a full-time senior station hand position, ideally on a property where she can make good use of her working dogs and strong livestock handling skills. With in station roles, mixed farming, shearing sheds and contracting mustering, she brings a well-rounded background in both cattle and sheep operations. Her skills include all aspects of livestock processing, drafting, animal health treatments, weaner education, mustering on bikes and buggies, and working as chopper ground crew. Ava is also confident on horseback and brings practical machinery and property maintenance skills, including tractor and harvesting equipment operation, fencing repairs, water infrastructure maintenance, portable yard building and MIG welding. She has experience training junior staff and is familiar with AgriWebb, Gallagher and Avenza mapping systems. Ava is looking for a long-term, stable opportunity where she can continue building her skills, contribute to the team and potentially progress into a leading hand role. With an open manual licence and a genuine commitment, she is keen to find the right property where she can settle in, take responsibility and grow with the business.
