3. Mick & Nikki

Mick and Nikki are seeking an opportunity to experience station life in a caretaker, homestead allrounder or similar role that makes the most of their combined practical skills and experience. With a couple of young children, they are looking for a family-friendly location with access to schooling and the potential to settle into a longer-term rural lifestyle. Mick brings range of hands-on maintenance and mechanical skills, with a background in handyman work, construction, machinery operation, welding, fencing, water infrastructure and general property maintenance. Mechanically minded and resourceful, he has the knowledge and confidence to tackle a wide range of repairs, from vehicles and machinery through to buildings, pumps and stock water systems. Nikki complements Mick’s practical abilities with a strong administration background, business ownership experience and excellent organisational skills. She has experience with a range of pets, wildlife rescue training and a sound mechanical understanding of her own. Together, they offer a versatile combination of maintenance, property care and administration, along with a willingness to pitch in wherever needed. They are open-minded about the type of role and keen to find the right opportunity to contribute to a station or rural property while giving their family the chance to embrace country life.
