3. Ned

Ned is a well-rounded and highly capable station operator looking to get back north into the warmer country after the past four years working in broadacre cropping. With a strong passion for cattle and station life, he is keen to return to the wide-open spaces. He brings a diverse background across cattle, farming, live export management, construction, machinery operation, drilling and water infrastructure.

Ned has cattle handling and mustering experience, along with strong mechanical, fencing, welding and bore-running skills. He is competent operating a wide range of earthmoving equipment including dozers, graders, excavators, loaders, bobcats/skid steers, forklifts and telehandlers, with experience across both civil construction and station environments.

Ned holds an MC truck licence, drone licence and firearms licence. He is experienced with livestock, general freight, hay, earthmoving equipment and long-haul work, and has managed teams.

Ned has plenty of potential and is the type of bloke who just needs to get back onto a station and back into the groove. While he has been out of station work for a few years, his broad experience and practical skill set are still there, and he is keen to get stuck in.

Ned and his experienced partner make a capable and reliable team, with her background in nursing, management and administration. They are open to opportunities anywhere across Northern NT, WA or QLD, and would be a great asset to any station operation.
