Jack is an experienced Farm Hand and Machinery Operator looking for a long-term, stable role with room to progress. He is ideally looking for a livestock or mixed farming position focused on cattle, hay and/or cropping, with the opportunity to use his horses when time permits.
Jack has strong hands-on cattle experience, including working large numbers, breeders and backgrounders, mustering, drafting, processing, yard work and low-stress stock handling. He is also a confident horseman and has extensive experience in hay and silage production, cropping, ground preparation, spraying and spreading, and has operated both old-school tractors and modern heavy machinery. He is ticketed for excavators, loaders, bobcats and forklifts, and also holds an HC licence.
Jack is mechanically minded, confident with machinery maintenance and repairs, and is a confident welder. Jack is also experienced and confident in all aspects of fencing and managing and maintaining stock water systems. He is a practical, reliable operator who can work independently or lead a small team and is keen to find a long-term opportunity where he can contribute and progress his skillset and experience.
