Kate is an experienced Station Hand with a strong background across station work, feedlot operations and mixed-enterprise properties. She is skilled in mustering, fully competent in livestock processing, trained in low-stress stock handling, and confident operating machinery including tractors, bobcat, dozer, grader, forklift, loader and telehandler.
A capable horse rider, Kate brings a couple of horses and a solid team of working dogs, seeking a role where she can actively use both. She is computer-savvy, proficient with crush-side systems, and has experience supervising small teams.
Kate also has light cropping experience, can jump in a tractor when needed, and handles repairs and maintenance confidently – from leaking pipes to broken fences. She holds Certificates II and III in Rural Operations, Certificate II in Business Communication and Technology, and has recently completed a preg-testing course she is keen to put into practice.
Motivated, reliable and practical, Kate is looking for a long-term Station Hand position where she can settle in and contribute her skills, dogs and horses.
